I am interested in a border collie primarily to run and play with me in the mountains. Can this breed ran long distance? I dud a run with a female collie once and she was still ok after 10 km. Good day, My name is Lindsay Seller and I live in Guateng, Johannesburg. I currently own 3 Border Collies, the oldest is now 15 years old (very active still), the second is 7 Years old and my third Border Collie is now 4 years old. I am doing alot of research on breeders in South Africa as I am wanting to buy a Border Collie Puppy. I currently compete in Agility and the puppy would be an agility dog. I have my own dog training school which I run full time and I am now starting a doggy day care. I go regularly hiking with my dogs. Do you do breeding? If so, please could you reply to this email? Hi, I am interested in getting a collie. I am involved with dog jumping and obedience. I have been told a farm breed dog is best starting material. We stay in the Northern Sububs of Cape Town with a good sized garden and work from home so always people arround, also two other dogs which are unfortunately getting on a bit.
